Naturopathy
The combination of a scientific approach and natural tools to understand the causes, restore balance and take sustainable action for your health.
Naturopathy at MAZ Clinic is combined with the tools of functional medicine. It’s a comprehensive, natural approach, guided by scientific precision (functional analyses). Naturopathy aims to understand the mechanisms at the root of imbalances and to act in depth to restore the body’s harmonious functioning, far beyond the simple relief of symptoms.
The main tools are the use of medicinal plants, micronutrition, advice on lifestyle and stress management, and targeted biological analyses (blood, urine, intestinal microbiota, etc.).
Our approach
Our naturopaths’ main tools may include targeted functional analyses (blood, urine, intestinal microbiota…) to refine understanding of the biological terrain, then, depending on needs, the use of medicinal plants, micronutrition, dietary supplements, as well as advice on lifestyle and stress management.

Sixtine Aversano
Naturopath – Cupping therapist
ASCA & RME member
After obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in psychology, Sixtine felt the need to broaden her practice and naturally turned to naturopathy: a discipline that puts the individual back at the heart of his or her balance, taking into account body, mind and emotions at the same time. She trained as a Naturopath at EPSN in Lausanne, where she graduated as a Naturopath in Traditional European Medicine in 2019. Registered with ASCA and RME, she also holds the OrTra MA certificate.
His humane, rigorous and individualized approach aims to understand the root causes of imbalances, in order to have a lasting impact on his patients’ health.
Specialized in functional medicine, she relies in particular on the analysis of biological markers (blood, urine, intestinal ecosystem) to identify deep-seated imbalances and propose 100% natural, targeted and personalized protocols. This scientific approach makes it possible to pinpoint the potential causes of disorders: deficiencies, chronic inflammation, hormonal imbalances, digestive imbalances, oxidative stress, etc., and to define the appropriate treatment plan to correct these imbalances.
Each treatment begins with a full medical history, enabling us to draw up a global map of the patient’s physical and emotional state of health. This may be supplemented by functional analyses, depending on the patient’s needs.
Her approach is aimed at anyone wishing to rediscover a sense of well-being and long-lasting balance, to naturally accompany their pathologies, to optimize their health, to gain a better understanding of their physiology, or to support their body at key moments in life.
In this holistic vision of health, Sixtine works closely with the other specialists at the MAZ Clinic, offering multidisciplinary, sustainable care.

Maya Blanco
Naturopath – Cupping therapist
ASCA & RME member
Maya Blanco first accompanied her patients as a mind-body therapist for around ten years, then trained in Naturopathy at the Naturopathic Center School in Geneva, where she obtained her Naturopath diploma in Traditional European Medicine in 2016. She is registered with ASCA and RME, and also holds the Diplôme Fédéral de Naturopathe.
Maya offers her patients a holistic, individualized approach that aims to understand the root causes of imbalances, in order to take lasting action on their health.
Her support begins with an in-depth medical history, a comprehensive assessment of her patients’ physical and emotional state of health. Thanks to her specialization in functional medicine, Maya is then able to supplement her anamnesis with the analysis of biological markers (blood, urine, intestinal ecosystem) to shed light on the imbalances at the root of disorders: nutritional deficiencies, low-grade inflammation, hormonal disturbances, digestive disorders, oxidative stress, and so on. Based on these data, she designs entirely natural protocols, targeted and adapted to the needs of each patient.
She accompanies anyone wishing to improve their general well-being, understand the origin of their symptoms, support a medical treatment, optimize their health or go through certain key phases of their life.
Maya works in close collaboration with all MAZ Clinic specialists, guaranteeing consistent, multidisciplinary, long-term care.
