Physiotherapy Physiotherapy

Physical therapy is the evaluation and treatment of abnormal physical function related to injury, illness and/or disability through movement, exercise, manual therapy and education. A physiotherapist accompanies patients through all phases of the healing process, from the initial diagnosis to the restorative and preventive stages of recovery.

Treatment may involve therapeutic exercises to improve strength, range of motion, endurance and pain relief. The practice is also known for improving posture, muscle imbalance, joint mobilization and stiffness.

Most importantly, physiotherapy offers physical independence, enabling people to enjoy and/or resume the activities of daily living they most enjoy.

Clemént Calonne

Physiotherapist

Clément has been passionate about sport since childhood. An avid road cyclist, he also has a passion for board sports, whether mountain (skiing) or water (foiling, windsurfing, wakeboarding). This immersion in the world of sport has enabled him to develop a keen understanding of movement and the physical demands specific to each discipline, leading him naturally towards physiotherapy.

A graduate of the Universidad Alfonso X el Sabio (UAX) in Madrid, Clément began his career in a physiotherapy practice in Lausanne, before moving to France. There, he first worked as a freelance physiotherapist, then in a clinic in a cardio-respiratory rehabilitation department, where he honed his expertise in the management of complex pathologies. He then joined a practice specializing in rehabilitation of the upper limb, developing particular expertise in the treatment of the shoulder, elbow and hand.

Trained in cycling physiotherapy with SSK Formation and in vestibular rehabilitation, Clément combines technical expertise, precise biomechanical analysis and a personalized approach to movement. In particular, he offers comprehensive postural studies for cyclists – both amateur and professional – to optimize performance and prevent injury.

His practice is based on an in-depth understanding of biomechanics and a holistic view of the patient, where every treatment is designed to improve function, mobility and quality of life.

Driven by the desire to join a multidisciplinary team that shares a global and modern vision of health, Clément joined MAZ Clinic in November 2025. He brings with him his expertise, energy and passion for movement.
